…is an electro-acoustic composition with four movements. SIO, the first movement, was created in 2005, the other three – KI and RA as well as AIO, which is leading back the music to its beginning – in January 2007, in the middle of the very intense preparations for the two exhibitions in the Art Museum Bern and in the Paul Klee Centre.
The music is suggestive of Wiggli´s great imagination as far as sound is concerned, his fondness for experiment and his creative power. The first composition sketches provided for one dominant acoustic element in each movement. He later abandoned this idea in favour of a more liberal treatment of his sound material.
Those who open their ears will be able to access hitherto “unheard” spaces on this sound journey. Where do the sounds come from? The sound material? Which role do the Sound-Lavis play, these “washed musical drawings”?
