Music for an invisible movie (7'03“)

The radio play is the fragment of a work originally intended as a short movie. The virtual acoustic ensemble was preemptively removed from the visual memory of mankind in order to make room for a short cut in form of a “staccato time pattern”. By means of the original sound, the original version of the movie is entirely given to the associative play of the audience. The photographic illustration by Mario Bader was created in free association without the visual “pre-conditioning” effected by the original movie images. As far as the “sound images” are concerned I am indebted to the inspiring dialogue with Viktor Alexander Hoffmann, the director of the invisible movie.
