The text accompanying the music, originally a poem on the relationship between the sexes, the traps of desire and of possessive love.
At the end there is the prospect of overcoming the antagonistic forces, each partner opposing the other as “sovereign”.
In the sound piece as its musical version individual songs are interwoven to make the text appear as part of the whole, rhythm, emotion and irony keeping a balance in order to explode into a sort of bedevilment or ecstasy in the finale.
