Died on the 16th of March 2007. He might have got the invitation to the last production of
TO HEAR IS TO SEE just in time, however his illness restrained him from reacting to it. The letter arriving on the 19th of March 2007 in Vienna did not contain his acceptance of a further participation in the project but his obituary, hardly sent by himself.
We have chosen this obituary as an image, since we are sure he would have reacted positively in terms of advancing. This is what he has done, yet in another direction.
His acoustic work is not known by many – however there are quite a few who do know it. Some/Many of his works consisted of recordings of nature overheard. For this reason we have decided to do without a sound work, referring only to the outside and to nature, in terms of perception within those and in memory of him.
