The word "Regenzeit" in German seems to me a much wider expression than the plain english "rainy season", because it also implements aspects of possibilities, a "time for rain" perhaps, time for the unexpected to happen, a time of waiting, trapped, of reduction and enclosedness, a forced timeless time. And the rain consists out of many droplets, there is a possible "rain" in every "grain"...
Since I took photographs during a thunderstorm, my digital camera stopped working normally and takes new strange remarkable photos, images like from another world. Afterwards I recorded the sound material through a broken amplifier, transmitted from another world too perhaps.
(I also used tuned multiphonic filters and a certain sort of fourier based granular synthesis - and hey, here are the grains again...)
