Sirens, intimately (12’34”)

SIRENS: four women on a sofa in the Midwest of the USA. They are sitting in the middle of a summer meadow waiting for the storm that has been announced. The situation evokes a hurricane-party and a dream where exuberance might capsize into a catastrophe at any time.
Sirenes, intimately: during the recordings for my radio-play SIRENS I installed some extra microphones recording all private comments of the actresses. In “Sirens, intimately” these original recordings are combined with all the varieties and phases of the editing of the radio play, music and sounds to result in a short and diverting radio piece.
