Architecture is colouring everything we hear. Urban architecture is a sound box, forming a space where the sound world surrounding us is being reflected and becomes resonant. In the video “chapter 3” the media artist Dietmar Offenhuber from Linz and the formation tamtam from Berlin (Sam Auinger/Hannes Strobl) deal with audio-situations in big cities by investigating sound-architecture created by urban buildings and constructions. In the process, they dwell on the aspect of movement in the city, which intensifies a dynamic experience of the urban sound-space.
