| Animal people, human animals that themselves appear aggressive and threatening, threatened and deformed. Invented figurations, unreal objects. Bird people, scullopeds, skeletal parts. Hard, expressive, oversized bony heads on dense, pressed, crouching torsos. Single figure items against the background. Violence is realized in the object itself (figure-flesh-bone) or can emanate directly from it. (Otto Kapfinger, 1977) |
