At a time when the moral and content-related ambiguity of journalism, the press and social-electronic media can be perceived as a set of issues developing long-term effects - who wants to see can see! - which manipulate the population by means of linguistic and ethic neglect, it is an absolute must to oppose the spreading phalanx of middle-class mass anaesthesia.
This group exhibition with the title "Axis of evil" presents artists from Cuba, Russia and Venezuela - countries which are called rogue states by the rule-based western community of values - and exclusively shows graphic works illustrating the fact, that tangible truth is only constituted in the relationship between the subject and the object realised by acting and perceiving at the same time. Thus truth cannot be understood as a single-way reference to reality but as a dialectic relationship in which consciousness becomes an action itself in response to the action of a being. Whoever acknowledges this fact is bound to concede an eminent truth to the work of art, because its existence exhibits just this dialectic relationship.

CONCERT: MOSE REVISITED: Thomas KUSCHNY + Oliver STOTZ
"Perfected fragments are given to you there, beginnings, temptations, found objects from the nuances. Rare pieces, carefully arranged, relaxed, unspoilt melodic, reduced. With a modesty that you believe in every note and everything behind it..." (Philip Scheiner, Ö1 editorial team, on the band's new album "Mose")

"Moses Revisited" is dedicated to a reinterpretation of those fragments, the structures remain, they are further abstracted with all possible and impossible means...
